JD5ax

After having presented in 2004 the prismatic 5-axis Evo 3 head, able to cut up to 60° inclinations and able to compensate the taper of waterjet cutting with 2D programming, today we are proud to present its natural evolution: the JD5ax.
The infinite rotation allows continuous rotation of the C-axis during consecutive cuts, saving remarkably on machining times. Specifically, in this configuration, it is not necessary to recover the head turns in order to align the cables and the internal pipes, which instead is compulsory with all the other types of 5-axis heads.
Thanks to the infinite rotation and the manufacturing quality of the 5-axis group, it is now possible to practically reduce the tolerance error of "mirror" cut parts to zero, i.e. with mirror profiles, the real limit of previous 5-axis cutting techniques, and even with taper compensation.
